I have scanned the discussion threads and I have seen that over the years others have reported what they have determined to be faulty messages that they have reached the maximum user limit for their particular license. Well, we are getting that message frequently — in error. We have a license for fifteen concurrent users. And it's extremely rare that we would have more than two people on Sage 50 (Quantum) at any one time. And yet we encounter this message several times per week. Indeed, when we thereupon check Sage itself to see what it reports as the number of users logged into a session, it will sometimes indicate only one. And yet still we get this message. Yes, there is a work-around. We can exit the app and re-run it. But this should not be necessary. I have not opened a formal ticket about this but I report it here in the user forums to see if anyone has a suggestion on what might be done. I know Sage uses "lck" files and of course like most Windows apps it may generate temp (cache) files in a designated user "AppData" directory or in Windows\temp. We are using Sage 50 Accountant Edition 2020 (Build 27.1.00.0154. Any suggestions would be welcome. This error is getting old and wearing thin. Thank you.
