You will need to put the program and data on the server for anyone who needs remote access. So you will run Sage 50 within the Remote Desktop session. For employees who will only use Sage 50 in the office you can install it Sage 50 on their desktop in a traditional configuration. But many people find that it's actually faster to run it through Remote Desktop/Terminal Services. So if you have enough Remote Desktop licenses you may want to have everyone run it that way. Installing Sage 50 for Terminal Services is similar to other programs. The one problem I've run into is addressed in KB ID:11258 Error: "Failed to switch Terminal Server to INSTALL mode." I'm an independent Sage 50 Certified Consultant. If your IT people want help with the installation you can contact me directly at 918-851-9713 or scollins@iqacct.com and we can discuss rates.
