Joe, It is not looking for an invoice number, or any specific number or criteria. If you look at your screenshot again, you will see that the "Search for" field is empty. Because you set it to All Transactions for your previous search, it is now pulling in every single invoice ever created in that company. You have no choice but to just let it run until it loads. Once it does load, change it to a different option other than all. Next time you open it, it will only try to load the invoices in the timeframe selected. Believe me, I feel your pain! I accidentally added a field in my view of my inventory list. After more than an hour of trying to load, it still isn't loading and it is creating a massive lag for other users. I will have to let it load over night, while no one else is in the system, just so I can fix the settings.
