My G/L trial balance is off. I figured out the cause, but do not know how to correct it. When a customer overpays their invoice I get the alert that says: Receipt amount you entered is __ more than the total amount due. Then it says you can manually fix the difference or have the system automatically create a prepayment. I had the system automatically create a prepayment for some of these over the last few months. This is the amount my trial balance is off by. Customer accounts were correct at year end, deposits, everything balanced, just my trial balance is off. What do I do to fix this? Thanks
