There are a couple of possibilities. If you have a 64 bit version of Windows, Sage 50 needs to be installed in C:\Program Files (x86) not C:\Program Files. If it is installed in the wrong folder you need to uninstall and then reinstall to the correct location. Sometimes there can also be a problem recognizing the short file names Sage 50 uses in its INI file. In that case you can manually edit the file to use the long file name for the program path. The detailed steps are in knowledgebase entry 15408 . If neither of those are the source of your error, then reinstall Sage 50 and choose the option to repair.
