I have posted this a couple of months ago. https://community.sagecentralna.com/support_communities/sage50_accounting_us/f/132/t/92065 Since then life has been beautiful. On Thursday the user of the workstation signed off the day and both sage 2014 and sage 2013 were working. Today as of 6 hrs ago, we are not being able to open 2013. 2014 client is functional but not 2013 client. As a reminder, both connect to different servers but reside on the same workstation. 2013 CLIENT, which connects to a remote shared drive different from the 2014 one, complains "You have reached the maximum allowed connections to Sage 50 Accounting. Please restart Sage 50 when one of the other users has disconnected" We tried to have all the users of the 2013 server to sign off but that did Not work. Additionally a message is shown : "There was a problem with the activation files for Sage 50. You will need to activate the program again" ---------------------------- To solve the above I followed the following links Article ID: 10501 to solve the activation files. I tried to uninstall , reinstall PSQL for 2014 as that was the one installed. Server activation has been done . IE setting allows for the licensing server to go through. support.na.sage.com/.../viewdocument.do Article ID: 12096 to solve the maximum allowed connection.I tried to restart PSQL,looked for expired anti virus, i do not see where this is coming from. Article ID: 14033. Since I have a 2014 newer version, I changed the LOCALDATAPATH on the workstation , it causes the error msgs above. The last resort i have is to uninstall 2013 (and 2014) and reinstall 2013 again! I cannot find what could have caused this from Thursday till Sat, we tried to restore windows to a week ago did not do it. I'm reluctant to touch the 2013 server as all the other 10 users currently using their workstations with ease except this one with 2014.
