If you go to the File menu and choose Open Company, does it automatically open to the right location to choose your company or do you have to browse to another drive or folder to find your company? If you have to browse to another location then the problem is most likely the data path setting in your ini file. See the link at the bottom of my post for steps on how to fix that. If it opens to the correct location, the you could have a damaged Userpref.dat file. It is stored in the folder with your company data. If you don't know where that is, open your company and then go to Maintain > Company information. The Directory field tells you where your data is stored. Close Sage 50, find your company's folder and rename Userpref.dat to Userpref.old, or something similar. Open Sage 50 again and a new Userpref file will automatically be created. You may lose some other settings in the process, but you should now be able to save your settings for the list windows. You can read knowledgebase article 16641 for more details.
