You need to know what service release you were using. Using Windows Explorer, go to the data path of the company. For example that may be c:\Peachtree\company\ABC. Open the folder ABC and open up Version.txt using Notepad to open the file. For 2009 the version.txt should read 19.?? The ?? stands for the service release you were using on 2009. You will need to find the Program AND the service release for the number that represents the ?? after the 19. If you are on 19.00 the version 2009 with no service releases will read your data and you are good to go. Otherwise 2009 will not read data files of 19.01 and above. Post the version.txt you have and perhaps someone has that program and Service release available for you to download. Otherwise I am afraid you will need to purchase an upgrade. We do sell Sage version 2016 and I will offer you a very good price with a 100% money back guarantee. You are welcome to call me for a preferred discounted price.
