Greetings, Madame -- Your reference to the Answer ID leaves me in an inconclusive state! It refers to servers et al, as opposed to basic backup and restore functions. It would appear that when using the File/Backup option there is the option to create a new folder. Backing up and restoring to a folder is pretty straightforward stuff, whether that folder is being used for cloud computing or not. For example, Microsoft Office enables one to select the location of where one wants their data files to be stored, if one chooses not to use the default location. By creating sub-folders under the Dropbox folder (in this case) enables one to transmit those files instantly to all other computers on the system. Before I experiment with same in Sage, I would need to know the purpose of the ~VSW~.loc file in the Company folder. It stores the name of the computer on which Sage resides. Does the software use this file to block the use of data on another computer, do you know? When I transfer the Company folder to the Dropbox folder, I omit that particular file. For the last two years, I have never had a problem using Sage on my other computers where the files have been so shared. In an age where cloud computing and storage is growing exponentially, I would think that Sage would want to take advantage of this opportunity. Thanks for your prompt response! Gordon
